Beyond the dazzling stage performances, the 2025 I.M.S. Annual Magic Gala also created a meaningful space for magicians and enthusiasts to connect, learn, and share experiences.
The Magic Creation Seminar, hosted by Golden Wizard Award winner Hao He, brought together the creators and lead performers of China's close-up magic shows. They shared insights on creativity and performance, sincerely answered questions from young magic lovers, and encouraged everyone to take their first step onto the stage with confidence.
This year's lecture lineup was truly star-studded: Japanese magician syouma, Chinese magician Tang Mingliang, Bruno Tarnecci from Chile, Gabriel Gascon from Canada, and Liu Xinsheng, one of China's top close-up magicians. Covering topics from history and theory to performance techniques, they exchanged their experiences with genuine passion, allowing audiences not only to witness magic but also to understand it on a deeper level.
The“Magic Seeds”City of Miracles Workshop offered an interactive experience for families. Children became “little magicians,"learning hands-on tricks and creating their own magic props alongside their parents, bringing joy and wonder back into everyday life.
Special programs added even more excitement.“Dong Liang's Dinner Table"focused on new media creation, giving magicians the opportunity to explore the limitless possibilities of short video production in a relaxed atmosphere. Meanwhile, the late-night salon “Miracles After Midnight"provided a platform for magic enthusiasts to meet, exchange ideas, and spark inspiration deep into the night.
Together, these activities made the gala more than just a stage for performances—it became a magical community for learning, sharing, and growing.
