Gongsheng Magic Theater

Gongsheng Magic Theater (共生演艺新空间) is the first immersive magic performance space in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is located on the 5th floor of the Shenzhen Women & Children Building in the heart of Futian, close to the Civic Center and Shenzhen Library.
Its name, Gongsheng (共生), means "symbiosis" — the venue is built around the idea of magic living in harmony with the city, its audiences, and public cultural life.
The Space
The complex contains three main spaces. The Frozen Time immersive theater seats 130–150 with modular seating that can be reconfigured for drama, corporate events, launches, and workshops. The Magic GALA Club close-up micro-theater offers a "0.5-meter" front-row experience with VIP seats. And a magic-themed bar operates in two modes — family-friendly creative tea breaks by day, a youth social bar by night — featuring an "Omakase at the bar" magic show.
Productions
Two flagship productions anchor the program, alongside a rotating lineup:
- A Frozen Moment in Time — 90-minute surrealist magic drama (flagship), built on real stories collected from Shenzhen audiences
- The Last Secret — China's first AI-themed immersive magic drama
- Dr. M's Laboratory — family science magic show
- Fantasy Secret Society — close-up magic showcase
- Open Mic Magic — magic open mic

Since opening in July 2025, the venue has hosted more than 500 performances and events, and welcomed high-profile international visits including the Crown Princess of Brunei and the President of Nauru.
