Calculator Magic on the Spectator’s Phone

Ask two spectators to think of any numbers. They add them up on their own phones, and the total matches a prediction you wrote down before they began. No numbers are forced.

That’s one of the routines you can perform with UNISON, a calculator magic system by Hyde Ren. On the spectator’s own screen, a prediction comes true, digits appear by themselves, or a calculation reveals something unexpected.

What You Can Perform

Free-Number Prediction
Two or more spectators each think of a number and add them up on their own phones. The total matches your written prediction. It can even reveal the current date and time.

Ghost Typing
Digits appear on the spectator’s calculator while nobody is touching the phone.

Any Card at Any Number
Shuffle the deck and let a spectator cut it freely. Set a number on their phone, then ask them to name any card. Count down to that position in the deck and reveal the card they named.

Custom Production
A calculation seems to go wrong. The calculator displays an item, and you produce the real object.

Real-Time Sync and Remote Control

Real-Time Sync lets you see each digit as the spectator enters it. Remote Control lets you control their calculator without touching their phone. Use these capabilities to build your own routines around mind reading, number predictions, time calculations, card locations, and calculations involving multiple spectators.

Nine Performance Modes

UNISON includes five standalone modes and four sync modes. Depending on the routine, a standalone mode uses either your phone or the spectator’s phone. The sync modes support more involved routines, including performances with a partner or multiple spectators.
