Contains 25 handmade gimmicked cards. Written by Jon Racherbaumer and Richard Kaufman; illustrated by Richard Kaufman and Ever Elizalde. Limited edition of 200 copies, housed in a custom looseleaf binder and slipcase.
In 1985 Richard Kaufman published Gaffed to the Hilt in an edition of 110 copies, focusing on the unique ingenious gimmicked cards and creations of Don England. It sold out almost immediately and has commanded prices up to $1,500 on the secondary market.
Gaffed to the Hilt EXPANDED adds nine new tricks and contains 25 handmade gimmicks made by Kyle McIntosh plus four printed gimmicks—all created from genuine USPCC Bicycle Rider Back stock. Eight of the new routines are by Don England and one comes from Kevin Kelly.
Every gimmicked card resides in its own glassine envelope, hand-tipped to a page in the book. Each copy is hand collated and assembled, with pages inserted into a custom-made three-ring binder with foil stamping, handcrafted to resemble the first edition. Only 200 copies exist, sold first-come, first-serve.
