Giacomo Bertini is an Italian magician specializing in close-up magic, and one of the most original voices in coin magic. He became interested in magic at the age of eight and later devoted himself to coin technique, developing a personal system of sleights and a style unlike anyone else's. He is the author of Giacomo Bertini's System for Amazement.

Bertini has taught and performed throughout Italy and abroad—including the United States, Japan, France, Spain, Canada, Argentina, and Switzerland. He has been a guest lecturer and performer at major conventions including the World Magic Seminar and Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic, the invitation-only close-up convention. His original work has appeared in Genii, MAGIC, and Ars Magna.

In September 2010, The Linking Ring devoted a cover story and a One-Man Parade to him, followed by a second Parade in November 2011. He has served as president of the European Close-up Magic Symposium since its first edition in 2010, a coin-magic symposium.
