MegaJam was born from a simple idea: Wen Xiu and Harapan Ong wanted to organise an exciting jam event for the Singapore community of magicians and cardists, unlike anything that anyone has done before.
Greatly inspired by events such as Cardistry Con. Wen Xiu and Harapan Ong reached out to a number of friends to help sponsor the event, and they put together what is now called MegaJam - Singapore’s latest and best jam event for magicians and cardists.
The 2025 MegaJam Convention, themed “TOGETHER, WE FLOURISH AND BLOOM”, celebrates growth, creativity, and connection within the magic community. This year’s lineup features world-renowned performers, including Japanese legend Ponta the Smith and Danish visual-style card artist Oliver Sogard, among other distinguished guests from around the globe.
In addition to world-class performances and lectures, the convention also offers a range of exclusive limited-edition merchandise. Among them, this deck of playing cards, created by Bacon Magic, serves as a portable memory of the event—capturing its passion, artistry, and professional spirit. Even for those unable to attend in person, the deck conveys the vibrant atmosphere of the convention.
The card box is crafted from premium specialty paper. Instead of printed designs, it features an elegant debossed texture, with the back of the box mirroring the card back design. At first glance, it appears understated, yet it conceals intricate details that elevate the deck’s visual and tactile appeal to a new level.
The card faces feature subtly refined suits and numbers, while the court cards adopt a charmingly vintage style. The card back is composed of outwardly flourishing leaves, showcasing exquisite texture and detail. This imagery not only stands out visually but also beautifully echoes the convention’s core theme—“Together, we flourish and bloom.”
