Pouring different liquids from the same container is one of the oldest magic effects in the world. Variations of this illusion have been recorded in books and folklore across many countries, with the earliest known accounts dating back over 2,000 years—shrouded in mystery.

In ancient China, there were also many legends about this effect, the most famous being the “Yin–Yang Rotating-Core Kettle”, which has been passed down for generations and even appeared in numerous films and TV dramas. Today, we present the modern twist on this classic—Got Juice? by World Magic Champion Eric Chien—perhaps the ultimate milk-carton version of this legendary effect!

The Effect
Much like the classic “The Magic Kettle,” here’s the simple idea: you first show the audience a carton of milk and let them taste it. Moments later, you begin pouring coffee… then cola… then orange juice—each from the same carton. With a shake of an empty container, drinks magically appear! Perfect for parties, events, and shows—you will be the center of attention.
