Miracle Nylon, produced by Himitsu Magic, is a very clever close-up routine.
The magician lets a spectator freely choose a nylon cable tie from the bag and fasten it around the spectator’s thumb. The spectator can feel that the tie is truly secured and can only be cut off with scissors. The magician then takes out another cable tie and asks the spectator to fasten it around the magician’s own thumb—at this point, the magician is also unable to break free from the tie.
Next, the spectator covers the magician’s hands with a red cloth. Astonishingly, the magician is able to free both hands, and the cable tie has completely vanished!
This prop is easy to use, lightweight, portable, highly visual, and can be reused.
